13-16 named storms, with 8-10 becoming hurricanes, of which 4-6 could become 'major' hurricanes of Category 3 strength or higher.
But predictions are made to be broken; last year proved that. click here to read the NOAA article

If this centre has accurately predicted hurricanes two years in a row... sheesh. Really, Bush can't say he hasn't been warned now, can he?
